Customer
i'm runing the game in a ATI RADEON IGP 345M and the computer tends to crash every now and then, when playing... on runing the error report from microsoft it tells me the graphics card made something it shouldn't... i have updated the graphcard drivers and my directx is the latest version and the problem persists... how can i make it stop?

Salutations,

Thank you for contacting EA Technical Support. We will be able to provide you with assisstance on any troubles and concerns you have with our products.

The reason this is happening it because your RADEON IGP does not meet the minimum requirements needed to run this game properly. The game requires a supported 32 MB Direct 3D capable video card with Hardware Transform and Lighting and DirectX 8.1 compatible drivers.

The Radeon IGP series is a scaled down version of the full sized Radeon cousins, and unfortunantly, lost the Hardware Transform and Lighting that the game requires.

Customer
i have patched updated the game but it still crashes...

isnt there a way to turn off this lighting, or the visual effects that keep crashing my computer?

Response (Box Micheal S.)
If you read and understood my email, your Radeon IGP does not work with the game. It is not strong enough to handle it. Send the game back and get a refund. IGPs are below the minimum Radeon requirement.

Customer
and if you read and understood my reply i asked if there was a way of shutting off the graphics that crash my computer, because everything else works just fine...

maybe it is too hard to shut off those graphics and maybe it isn't, i don't know but i don't think you are interested in knowing anyway... thanks for your help...

Customer
this is the answer i got from your staff when i asked why did my computer crash when i was playing NFSU with my ATI Radeon IGP... at the time i stressed that the game worked fine until it crashed and that there would be a way to disable the graphics that only sometimes showed up to crash my pc... you seemed in no way interested in correcting your programming mistakes and gave me that "sorry kid, your computer doesn't cut it!" answer... well... i must say that now that i HAVE found a way to make the game work, you guys seem like even bigger losers than before... and YOU did look like big losers before... i guess you cant ask a highschool gradute for much more... thanks for nothing!

Hello,

Thank you for contacting EA Technical Support. We will be happy to provide you help with the troubles and concerns you have.

In order to best troubleshoot your issue, I'm going to need some more system information. Can you send me the information from a program called DXDIAG.

To do this:

1. Go to Start -> Run.
2. In the box, type the following: dxdiag
3. Hit "OK"
4. Click the "Save All Information" button on the first screen of the application.
5. Then on top of the "Save As" box that pops up, click the arrow just to the right of the "Save In" box, and select Desktop, then click Save.
6. Finally, attach the dxdiag.txt to your email reply.

After we receive this file we can continue troubleshooting the issues at hand and hopefully come to a solution.
